Washington County VINE Coverage
Kentucky VINE through VINELink is a person-based custody and notification system. It is not a county release feed. Washington County does not operate an active jail, so people arrested there are commonly housed at Marion County Detention Center in Lebanon. A correct search may therefore name Marion County as the participating custodian even though the arrest and court case arose in Washington County.
Participating agencies supply the events. Kentucky guidance describes coverage that can include county jails, prisons, mental-health facilities, and juvenile detention facilities. Available information depends on the source record. VINE may report custody status, the current jail or institution, and an event tied to release or transfer. It does not replace the jail movement record or the court order that authorized release.
A missing result proves very little. The spelling may differ, the agency may not have sent the event, or the person may have moved to another custodian. A reported date is strong corroboration, but it may not explain bond, sentence completion, dismissal, parole, or another legal basis. When Washington Release Calls Arrive
Kentucky uses different timing rules for different custody events. After a jail release, calls are placed every 30 minutes for a 24-hour period or until the recipient enters the PIN. A planned state-institution release can trigger an attempt 72 hours before the event. For parole, court-ordered discharge, immediate time-credit changes, or escape, calls begin when the event occurs.
Those schedules are often confused with public lists. They are notification windows, not a Washington County 24-hour or 72-hour release feed. No official rolling county feed was verified. Washington County VINE Verification

Washington County Custody Boundaries
VINE does not supply a complete federal release history. A federal sentence belongs in the Bureau of Prisons locator. A federal pretrial movement may require the court docket or U.S. Marshals Service. Immigration detention belongs in ICE’s locator. A Marion County transfer to any of those authorities means the person left the county jail but may remain confined.

For people subject to sex-offender registration, the Kentucky State Police registry is a separate post-release source. It updates daily except weekends and state holidays, but it is not a general release list. It may corroborate current registration or supervision facts only for people whom the law requires to register.
Resolve Washington County VINE Mismatches
A careful identity check prevents a custody notice from being attached to the wrong person. Compare the complete name, aliases, birth information, offender number, agency, and facility. If two records look alike, do not rely on the charge alone. Charges can be amended, repeated, or shared by unrelated people.
